Adham: Space technology in use to help with flood preparation


KUALA LUMPUR: Technology developed by the Malaysian Space Agency (Mysa) is being used to identify localities prone to flooding in order to make early preparations, says the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry.

Its minister, Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba, said among the space technologies developed and operated by Mysa were the Integrated Disaster Management System (IDMS) and the Satellite Image-Based Monsoon Flood Information and Logistics System (eBanjir).
